Dr. Daniel Labow's clinical and research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of both primary and metastatic malignancies including gastric and esophageal cancer, pancreatic neoplasms, primary and metastatic liver malignancies, biliary tract disease, colon and rectal cancer, sarcoma, melanoma and breast cancer.

Additionally, he is interested in the application of minimally invasive techniques and their role in cancer care.

He has pioneered cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC at Mount Sinai and has performed the procedure on a wide variety of malignancies including colorectal cancer, appendiceal cancer, gastric cancer, hepatocellular cancer and others. The HIPEC program at Sinai has grown to one of the busiest in the United States. Subsidized housing for family, private rooms with dedicated nursing are also available.
