Frederick Memorial Hospital
400 West Seventh Street
Frederick, MD 21701
Over the last 25 years, Frederick County’s population has grown by nearly 40 percent, representing an increase of an estimated 95,000 people. To keep pace with that growth, the area’s leading healthcare provider has expanded significantly, as well. For many Frederick County residents, “Frederick Memorial” is synonymous with the hospital on Seventh Street, yet that facility is actually the hub of the much larger Frederick Regional Health System (FRHS).
FRHS maintains a focus on delivering quality care. The health system and hospital have achieved numerous accreditations and recognition. A small sampling includes:
- FRHS is a certified member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network
- FMH has the only wound care center in the state of Maryland to receive Accreditation with Distinction from The Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society.
- FMH is accredited as a Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC), its highest level of accreditation.
- The Center for Breast Care has earned a three-year accreditation from a prestigious independent review board, the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
With nearly 2,700 employees, FRHS is one of Frederick county’s largest employers. Frederick Memorial Hospital has 233 licensed beds.
