Dr. Sinno is a board certified Gynecologic Oncologist at University of Miami where he serves as the Director of Surgical Research and Education and the Associate fellowship director for the gynecologic oncology fellowship. Dr. Sinno is an associate professor.
He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Emory University, and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he received multiple awards for excellence in teaching and research. His research interests include surgical innovation and surgical clinical trials, and the social determinants of healthcare inequality. He has authored multiple peer reviewed papers, book chapters, and served as course faculty and presenter at multiple national and international meetings. Dr. Sinno specializes in radical cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer for maximal debulking. He has a particular focus on integrative oncology and the use of complementary medicine to treat the entire patient and not just the cancer.
