Colin Court, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
He completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, and his surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, with an emphasis on complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and peritoneal surface cancers.
Dr. Court earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He earned his PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles completing a doctoral dissertation focusing on bioinformatics, computational biology and machine-learning for translational biomarker development for gastrointestinal cancers.
His clinical and research focus will be on the management of advanced GI and pancreatic cancer, with a special interest in translational biomarker development.
