Dr. Kevin Sullivan is a board-certified surgical oncologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. His clinical interest is the multidisciplinary treatment of complex abdominal and gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, particularly surgery or other therapies for advanced or metastatic disease including peritoneal malignancies. Dr. Sullivan also has research experience in the immune microenvironment of GI cancers with a goal of developing new immunotherapies that target multiple types of cells to enhance a cohesive immune response against cancer. He has interests in clinical trials that can help bring new locoregional therapies to patients.
